PARALEGAL
Megan Stanford is a dedicated and compassionate paralegal with a strong commitment to client-centered advocacy. She graduated cum laude from the University of California, Irvine in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law and Society, and went on to complete an ABA accredited paralegal certificate program through Irvine Valley College, further solidifying her foundation in legal practice.
While in college, Megan interned at a nonprofit law firm that assisted homeless and low-income veterans in Southern California with their legal needs—an experience that ignited her passion and inspired her pursuit of a career in law. Upon graduating, Megan worked in insurance defense where she gained invaluable experience navigating the complexities of civil litigation and understanding the inner workings of large corporations and insurance carriers. While that role refined her technical skills and broadened her legal insight, Megan felt a strong pull to shift her focus. Motivated by a desire to serve individuals rather than institutions, she transitioned to Forrester Lopez APC, a plaintiff-focused law firm, to engage more meaningfully with clients and contribute to causes that align with her values.
Megan's background on both sides of litigation enables her to anticipate opposing strategies and approach her work with both empathy and precision.
